RESOLUTION NO. 3184
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PORTION OF SAN BRUNO ROAD
PERSON AND SWANSON INDUSTRIAL TRACT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, and this
Council does hereby FIND, ORDER and DETERMINE that
Sec. 1. This Resolution is adopted pursuant to the Street Vacation Act of 1941.
Sec. 2. The public interest and convenience require, and it is the intention of this
Council to vacate the portion of San Bruno Road commencing in the easterly line of the lands of
Person and Swanson, thence westerly to the easterly line of San Bruno Road projected northeasterly
to Airport Boulevard, said San Bruno Road now known as San Mateo Avenue. Reference is hereby made
to a plat showing the portion of San Bruno Road to be vacated, which plat is on file in the office
of the City Clerk of said City.
Sec. 3. Notice is hereby given that Monday, the 5th day of June, 1961, at the hour of
8:00 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, South San Francisco, California, are hereby
fixed as the time and place when and where all persons interested in, or having objections to,
the proposed vacation of said portion of San Bruno Road, may appear before said Council and be
heard.
Sec. 4. The City Clerk of said City shall publish this resolution once in a newspaper
of general circulation published within said City, in the manner prescribed by law for publishing
resolutions for said City.
Sec. 5. Notices of the vacation of each street, or portion thereof, shall be posted
conspicuously along the line of each street, or portion thereof, proposed to be vacated at least
ten (lO) days before the date set for the hearing. Such notices shall be posted not more than
300 feet apart, but at least three shall be posted.
I Hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held
this 15th day of May, 1961, by the following vote:
