A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO GRANTING A
GRADING PERMIT TO WILLIAM P. RUS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
the Director of Public Works having filed a report of his recommendations ou the appli-
cation of William P. Rus for a gradiu~ permit, the City Council hereby authorizes the
City Clerk to issue to William P. Rus a grading permit to grade the property described
lauds of Bethlehem Steel Company as described in the application. Said permit shall
contain provisions indemnifying and holding the City, its elective officials, officers
and employees harmless from claims and further requiring conduction of the grading
work iua manner that it will not injure the property iu the vicinity of the laud to
be graded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall collect the cost of de-
fraying the expense of the examination and the report by the Director of Public Works
iu the sum of TEN DOLLARS ($10.00), prior to issuing the permit, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a permit shall be issued to said William P. Rus
to transport fill material over the city streets iu accordance with the proposal made,
and said William P. Rus shall post a bond with the City Clerk to indemnity the City
for any damages which may be caused to any sidewalks or pavement, sewers or any other
public improvement iu transporting said fill material in the amount of TWO THOUSAND
and no/100 DOLLARS ($2,000.00), and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works shall ascertain
by inspection that said grading is performed iu accordance with the permit and upon
its completion, shall file with the City Clerk a report stating the results of said
inspection and certifying that the grading has been performed iu accordance with
the permit.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held ou the
7th day of August, 1961, by the following vote:
