A RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT WITH SOUTHERN
PACIFIC COMPANY FOR IMPROVING SPUR TRACK
CROSSING - PERSON AND SWANSON INDUSTRIAL TRACT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco,
California, that
WHEREAS, in the improving of San Mateo Avenue it is necessary to con-
struct improvements within the right of way of the spur track crossing of the
Southern Pacific Company parallel to the northerly side of Colma Creek;
WHEREAS, pursuant to application No. 43297, the Public Utilities Com-
mission of the State of California has rendered its decision No. 6230~ establish-
the conditions pursuant to which said improvements shall be made;
WHEREAS, pursuant thereto the Southern Pacific Company have prepared
and sUbmitted to the City a form of contract setting out the terms under which
said improvements shall be made; and
WHEREAS, the public interest and economy will be served by the execu-
tion of the contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, as follows:
1. That the City enter into said contract, in duplicate, and that the
Mayor shall execute said contract in the name of the City, and that the Clerk
attest his signature and affix thereto the corporate seal.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 5th
day of September, 1961, by the following vote:
