A RESOLUTION ORDERING VACATION OF A PORTION OF
LAWRENCE AVENUE, INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NO. 2-C,
ZONE 3
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, and
this Council does HEREBY FIND, ORDER and DETERMINE that
1. The City Council did, on the 18th day of September, 1961, adopt its
resolution No. 3281 of Intention to Vacate a Portion of Lawrence Avenue, a public~
street in the city of South San Francisco, as said street is shown on the map en-
titled "South San Francisco Industrial Park Unit No. 2-C" which map was recorded
in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Marco on February 25,
1959, in book 50 of maps at pages 31, 32, and 33.
2. Said resolution recited that proceedings were being undertaken pur-
suant to the Street Vacation Act of 1941, for vacating said streets.
3. Said resolution of intention was duly published as required by law,
and notices of its passage entitled "Notice of Proposed Street Vacation of Lawrence
Avenue", were duly posted in the time, manner and form provided by law, all these
appear from the affidavits of publication and posting on file iu the office of the
City Clerk of said city.
4. Monday, the 16th day of October, 1961, at the hour of 8 o'clock P.M.,
at the Council Chambers iu the City Hall in the City of South San Francisco, were
fixed in said resolution of intention as the time and place when and where any and
all persons interested in, or having any objections to, said proposed vacation might
appear before said Council and be heard.
5. No objections of any kind or character have been, or were made, or
were filed, against said proposed Vacation.
6. It is to the interest and convenience of the City of South San Fran-
cisco that said portion of Lawrence Avenue be, and the same is hereby vacated.
7. The City Clerk of said City shall cause a certified copy of this Res-
olution and Order, attested under the seal of said City, to be recorded in the office
of the County Recorder of said County of San Marco together with a plat map and
description of the said portion of Lawrence Avenue hereby vacated.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this
16th day of October, 1961, by the following vote:

Beginning at a point on the intersection of the centerline of
Lawrence' Avenue and Littlefleld Avenue as shown on that certain map
entitled "South San Francisco Industrial Park Unit No. 2-C" recorded at
the office of the County Recorder, County of San Mateo, CaLifornia, on
February 25, 1959 in Volume 50 of maps in pages 31, 32, 33; thence West
along the centerLine of Lawrence Avenue a distance of 910. 8& feetj thence
N 0° 00! 56" W along the centerline of L~wrence Avenue a distance of
490. 00 feet to its intersection with the Northerly bounctary line of said
subdivision; thence East &long said bounchtry line a distance of 60. 00 feet
to the True Point of Beginning; thence West 10. 74 feet along 'said boundary
line to its intersection With a curve to the right having a radial hearin~
of N 65° 54t 56" W at said point of intersection; thence Southerly along
the arc of said curve to the right which has a radius o~ 60. O0 feet and
a central angle of 2° 36' ~-6" an arc distance of 2. 73 feet to the intersection
with a curve to the left which curve is the Easterly right-of°way l_~ne of
Lawrence Avenue as shown on said map and whose intersection with said
curve to the left has a radial bearing of S 23° 23' 27" E; thence Easterly
&long the arc of said curve having a radius of 30° 00 feet and a central
ansle of 2~° 23' 27" an arc distance of 12. 25 feet to the True Point of
Beginning and containing an area of 9 square feet more or less.
