Clerk Battaya stated that Boardmember Addiego had informed the Executive Director's Office that he was unable to attend the meeting. AGENDA REVIEW AGENDA REVIEW Executive Director Armas stated that he had nothing to add or delete from the Agenda. CONSENT CALENDAR CONSENT CALENDAR 1. Approval of the Minutes of the Approved. Regular Meeting of 6/14/89. 2. Approval of the Regular Bills of ~lO~- Approved in the total amount of 7/12/89 and 7/26/89. $22,525.06. ADMINISTRATIVE BUSINESS ADMINISTRATIVE BUSINESS 3. Mr. Tom Horner, Marriott, stated that there was only one item his firm had a problem with, and that was to have a uni- form security guard between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. He felt there were pretty ade- quate security systems in the hotel with the night manager on the premises, and responsibility to walk the property every two hours. Police Sgt. Petrocchi stated that this was a requirement that was standard for all hotels that come before the City for various permits since 1980. He stated that the condition stated, a uniformed security person, which did not necessarily have to be a guard. He stated that most hotels designate a van and shuttle bus driver to do that func- tion when they were not running back and forth to the Airport. Mr. Horner stated concern also over the Oyster Point contribution formula in relation to calculations for hotels. Mayor Teglia stated that Mr. Horner had major things to discuss, and suggested holding it over for two weeks. Mr. Horner requested that the Council proceed as is, and he would work it out wi th staff. M/S Haffey/Nicolopulos - To approve Precise Plan PP-89-20 and Parcel Map PM-89-268.
