3. Motion - Continued. applied to Airport oriented hotels;
whether a piece of the property had been
held for future parking needs; that the
property had an easement; to determine
whether the standard was going to con-

Mr. Tom Horner, Marriott, stated that
there was only one item his firm had a
problem with, and that was to have a uni-
form security guard between 9:00 p.m. and
6:00 a.m. He felt there were pretty ade-
quate security systems in the hotel with
the night manager on the premises, and
responsibility to walk the property every
two hours.
Police Sgt. Petrocchi stated that this
was a requirement that was standard for
all hotels that come before the City for
various permits since 1980. He stated
that the condition stated, a uniformed
security person, which did not
necessarily have to be a guard. He
stated that most hotels designate a van
and shuttle bus driver to do that func-
tion when they were not running back and
forth to the Airport.
Mr. Horner stated concern also over the
Oyster Point contribution formula in
relation to calculations for hotels.
Mayor Teglia stated that Mr. Horner had
major things to discuss, and suggested
holding it over for two weeks.
Mr. Horner requested that the Council
proceed as is, and he would work it out
