A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO PROVIDING FOR THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL
MUNICIPAL ELECTION IN SAID CITY ON THE 10TH DAY OF
APRIL, 1962, DESIGNATING PRECINCTS, POLLING PLACES,
ELECTION OFFICERS AND OTHER RELATED MATTERS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
for the purpose of holding the general municipal election in said City on the 10th
day of April, 1962, as provided by law, said City be, and the same hereby is, divided
into thirty-six (36) election precincts, to be known as:
LIST OF PRECINCTS
Voting Precinct 1, Voting Precinct 2, Voting Precinct 3, Voting Precinct 4, Voting
Precinct 5, Voting Precinct 6, Voting Precinct 7, Voting Precinct 8, Voting Precinct 9,
Voting Precinct 10, Votin~ Precinct 11, Voting Precinct 12, Votin~ Precinct I3, Voting
Precinct 14, Voting Precinct 15, Votin~ Precinct 16, Voting Precinct 17, Voting Pre-
cinct 18, Voting Precinct 19, Voting Precinct 20, Voting Precinct 21, Voting Precinct
22, Voting Precinct 23, Voting Precinct 24, Voting Precinct 25, Voting Precinct 26,
Voting Precinct 27, Voting Precinct 28, Voting Precinct 29, Voting Precinct 30, Voting
Precinct 31, Voting Precinct 32, Voting Precinct 33, Voting Precinct 34, Voting Pre-
cinct 35 and Voting Precinct 36, respectively.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the aforegoing precincts also set forth in the
following table in Column A shall contain the territory of the precinct or combination
of precincts set opposite thereto in Column B of said table which are the precincts
established by that certain Resolution numbered 16880 and entitled "RESOLUTION AND
ORDER DIVIDING THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, CALIFORNIA, AND THE ELECTION PRECINCTS AND
ESTABLISHED BOUNDARIES THEREOF" passed and adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of San Mateo, California, on the 5th day of December, 1961; and the polling
places for each of said precincts shall be designated in said table in Column C.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that use of votin~ machines, same havin~ been ap-
proved by the State Commission of votin~ machines, and approved and adopted by the
County of San Mateo, is hereby approved for said election and one machine in complete
workin~ order shall be placed in the pollin~ place of each precinct, said pollin~
places to be opened at 7 o'clock A.M. and kept open until 8 P.M. of said date when
said pollin~ places shall be closed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the officers shall be compensated as follows:
Inspector - the sum of $18.00
Judge - the sum of $15.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall provide or cause to be
provided all supplies and services and equipment and so all acts necessary to conduct
said election as provided for in the Elections Code and other related laws, includin~
those services contracted for with the County of San Mateo by Resolution No. 3363 of
the City of South San Francisco.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall ~ive notice of the afore-
said designation of election officers and pollin~ places by publication in the South
San Francisco Enterprise-Journal as required by law.

ularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco at a regular meetin~ held on the 19th day of
February, 1962, by the followinq vote:
