HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 3579-1962 ~ RESOLUTION NO. 3579 A RESOLUTION 0~ERRULING P~0TESTS ON RESOLUTt0~T OF INTENTI0~ NO. 3384 PECK'S SUBD!VISI0~ NO. 1 R~SOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San ?rancisco~ C~liforni~ that W~EREAS, this Council did on February ~, 1962, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 3384, to construct public improvements in and for said City; W~]E2~2~AS, on August 6, 1962, this Council a~dopted a resolution appo~ntin~ t~me and place of h~aring protests in relation to the proposed improvements a.n~ directing notice; W~E~REAS, notice was given of the time and place therein stated in the manner provided bylaw, as appears from the affidavits on file in the offic~ of the City Clerk; Wi~.]REAS, said matter came on regularly for hearing at the time therein fixed; and Wi~EAS, all written protests and other written communications were publicly read at said meeting and all persons desiring to be he~rd were fully heard; 496 RESOLUTION It0. 3579: (Continued) I{0~.2, [DtEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows: 1. That protests against said improvements were not signed bY the owners of a majority or more of the area of the lands within the assessment district, or of the area of the lands within the assessment district assessed for the costs and expenses of said work. 2. That said protests be, and each of them are hereby, overruled. I herebY certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 1st day of October, 1962, by the following vote: AYES, COU}~CIL}{EN Leo J.
