A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
STORM DP~&!N FRO?{ FIRST LANE TO RAILROAD AVE.
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Frsncisco, California, that
Wt~HEAS, pursuant to previous order of the City Council and published notice, bids
were publicly opened, examined and declared on the 2~th day of September 1962 for the work
to be done and the improvement to be made as described and specified in Resolution No. 3~63
entitled, "A Resolution of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco approving
plans and specifications authorizing the work and calling for bids on the improvement of
storm drain from First Lane to Railroad Avenue".
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said proposals or bids except that
hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing the work and improvements
and furnishing the materials, supplies and equipment necessary therefor, to the lowest
responsible bidder, to wit: Lowrie Paving Co., Inc. at the unit prices named in their bid.
2. That the Mayor.of said City is hereby authorized to make and enter into a
written contract with said successful bidder, and to authorize, receive and approve all
bonds in connection therewith, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to
attest his signature and affix thereto the corporate seal of said City.
I hereby certify that the fore, going resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting he~d
on the 1st day of October, 1~62, by the following vote:
AYES, COUUCIL~N Leo J. Ryan, Patrick E. Ahern, Emilio Cortesi,
Andrew Rocca, and G. J. Rozzi
