HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 14-2003RESOLUTION NO. 14-2003 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A COOPERATWE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND CALTRANS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS ON EL CAMINO REAL (ROUTE 82) AT ARLINGTON DRWE WHEREAS, staff recommends the City enter into a Cooperative Agreement with Caltrans for the installation of traffic signals on E1 Camino Real (Route 82) at Arlington Drive; and WHEREAS, the cost for coordination and public notification was approved by Resolution 92-2002 dated October 9, 2002; and WHEREAS, the construction budget will be included in the Fiscal Year 2003-2004 Capital Improvement Program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes a Cooperative Agreement between the City of South San Francisco and Caltrans for the installation of traffic signals on El Camino Real (Route 82) at Arlington Drive. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to execute the Cooperative Agreement on behalf of the City of South San Francisco. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 12th day of February 2003 by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: Councilmembers Joseph A.
