of South San Francisco,held Wednesday March 3, 1915.
This meeting was called to order at 8' 0 Clock P.l~.,by Trustee G.W. Holston
"President of the Board".
Roll-call
Roll call found the following Trustees present,to wit;
F.A.Cunningham,J.H Kelley, George Wallace and G.W. Holston.
Trumtee Nc Govern appeared after roll-call
Absent Trustees None .
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and upon motion of Trustee
Kelley duly seconded by Trustee Cunningham and regularly married were approved as read.
A petition for an extention of time on the excavation co ntract of David Dillon was
received by the Board,and upon motion of Trustee Cu~mingham seconded by Trustee Kelley and
regularly carried David Dillon was granted an extention of thirty days on the above named
contract.
The reports of City Officers for the month of February were then read,the report o
of the City Clerk showed the following balances,
General Fund $§,0~?.41 Sewer fund Overdrawn $25.00,Library ~nd $650.00, Sinking Fund
$4,220.90, Storm Sewer ~l 996.£Z, GrandAvenue Extention ~kmd $1,857.39
The reports of City Harshal and Treasurer checked with that of the Clerk.
The report of the City Recorder showed that the sum of l0 dollars had been colle~cted
through his office during the month of ~ebruary l~14.
The report of the Health officer was read showing the General sanitary conditions of the
City.
Moved by Trustee Kelley seconded by TruStee Mc Govern that the reports
of all the City Officers received at this meeting be accepted and filed.

The following demands against the City we/e presented ~for payment ,the same having been
approved by the finance co~mittee.

Moved by Trustee Kelley seconded by Trustee Wallace that the above demands be
paid and warrants drawn for the various amounts .
Carried
The following resolution was then introduced by Trustee Kelley.
Resolved by the B oard of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco that the
proposal of the Novelty Electric Sign Company to construct an electric sign over the
eastern end of Grand AVenue in the City of Soouth San Francis~ which proposal is now on
~-ru~ee mo ~+evern appeared, aA~er roll-call

Hoved by Trustee Kelley seconded by Trustee Wallace that the above demands be
paid and warrants drawn for the various amounts .

The following resolution was then introduced by Trustee Kelley.
Resolved by the B oard of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco that the
proposal of the Novelty Electric Sign Company to construct an electric sign over the

file in the office of the City Clerk of said City be,and the same hereby is accepted.
The President of the Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco and
the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with said
Novelty Electric Sign Company in the corporate name of said $ity and under i~s corporate
seal for the construction of said Sign
I hereby certify that t he foregoing resolution was regularly introduced ahd adopted by
the Board of ~rustees~ of the City of South San Francisco,this 5rd. day of Harch 191§,

Moved by Trustee Cuhnin~ha~ seconded by Tr-~stee Kelley that the City Attorney be in-
structed to draw up a resolution creating the oddice of Deputy Tax-collector .

Moved by Trustee Wallace seconded by Trustee Mc Gomern that the Board adjourn until
Monday March ~t 1915,to meet at ~510 Linden Avenue at 8' 0 clock P.H.
