This meeting was called to order at 8' 0 clock p.m. by Trustee ,9.W. Holston

Roll-call
Roll-call founA a~t Trustees present,to wit;
M.A Cunningham,J.H. ~eliey, J.C. MdCovern,Ceo. H. Wallace. and G.W. Holston.
Absent Trustees None.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and upon motion of Trustee
Wallace seconded by Trustee Kelley and regularly carried were approved as read.
A communication was received from Chas. N. Black Vice President of the United Railroad~
of San ~rancisco, informing the Board of Trustees that it was impossible at this time
for them to apply for a ?ranchise which required an outlay of n~ney.
The communication was o~dered placed on file.
A communication was received from 0'Rourke and Brady ~ontractors for the construction of
the public library asking for an extention of time on theit contract.
In compliance with their request the following resolution was then introduced by Trustee
~c Govern.
Resolved by tLe Bo~rd of ~rustees of the City of South San 2ranci sec,that
0' Rourke and Brady be,and they hereby are given thirty days additional time w~ithin
which to couplete their contract for the construction of the public library.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced ~nd~ adopted
by the Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco,this ?th. day of J~ue,191~.

An application was ~eceived from the Pac. Gas & Electric Co. for permission to set one
pole on Division Street as per blue print ~9 .
The matter was refered to th~ City Engineer.
An application was received fro~ R.C. Stickles for permission to use ~iller Avenue in
fr~-nt ~ lots lg,and 16 2lock 8~ for the purpose of placing material thereon during the
construction of a building .
The ~atter v~as refered to the Jity Engineer.
A communication was received from Mr and Hfs Frank L. Noreiga wherein they offered
to ~onate to the City for the use of the Public Library ,two hundred bound books.
~oved by Trustee ~c O~vern seconded by Trustee Wallace thnt the donation be accepted
and that the City ~lork be instructed to thank the donors on behalf of the Board of
Trustees.

A communication was received from J.P. Adams ~anager of the Pae.Telephone and Telegraph
Co. in answer to the co~nuunieation of the City Clerk dated May 26th. concerning a fire
alarm gong for the City to be installed at Linden & Gramd ~lvenu~s and encloseing a
form of contract between the City of So. S.~. and The Pac. Tel. & Tel. Co. which
contract was accepted by the following resolution introduced by Trustee Eelley.
Resolved ~y the Board of Trustees of the C~y of South San ~raneisco that the
