held Thursday mar. 9, 1916o This meeting was called to order by F. A. Cunningham who acted as
oharman protem in the absence of G. ~. Holston president off the Board.
Roll call found the following Trustees present to wit:
F. A. Cunningham,,Jo ~. Kelley, J. C. MoGovern, and
Absent Trustees Go ~. Holston.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and upon motion of Trustee Kelley seconded
by Trustee ~allaoe and regularly carried were approved as read.
A Oommun~,oation was received from E. C. Peck of Pecks subdivision asking that three lights
be placed in their subdivision. The communication was ordered filed and the matter laid over
until the new lighting system will be installed.
A communication was received from the womens club of South San Francisco protesting of the
number of animals at large also the throwing of rubbish in vacant lots. The communication was
placed on file.
A communication was received from G. 3ilvernail protesting against the action of 0ity
Recorder in t~yi~g tp his wages. Moved by Trustee kelley seconded by TruSSes Cun~ingham thst the Cit~
Recorder be cited to appear before the Board at the next meeting to be held Monday Mar. 20, 1~15.
A proposition was received from the Pacific Gas & Electric Co., to change the lighting system
within ~he City of South San Francisco as follows. Ail lights on Grand Avenue to be 250o.p.
with refractor except light at Linden and Grand which will be 400 c.p. all other lights in City
to be 100 o,~. at the followin~ prices,, 250 o.p. lamps $S.15, one 400 o,p. $4.00, and ?0 100o.p.
lamps~ $2.25. TOtal cost $24~.A0.
the proposition be accepted.

to prepare the necessary resolution and notice to bidders for the purchase of a fi~e truck

proposition and question whether each member of the Board of Trustees of the City of South San
