to order at 8:10 p.m. by Pres. J. H. Kelley.
Roll call found the following Trustees present to-wit:
~. A. Cunningham, M. ~. Healy, G. W. Holston, G. H. Wallace and J. H. Kelley
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and upon motion of G. W. Holston seconded
M. F. Healy were approved.
A communication w~s received from the Womans Club and was referred to the City ~ealth
Officer.
A Communication wes received from I. Bonnelanze to alter his store building situated at
SZPZ Grand Avenue occupied now by 0. Berlinger as a ~eat ~arket. Moved by Trustee' W~llace seconde
by Trustee Cunningham that the said communication be granted.
A petition w~s received from owmers of property adjoining alleys running p~rallel with
Baden and Miller Avenue between Cypress a~A Maple asking the Bo~rd to have said alleys graded and
paved with concrete. Moved by Trustee Cunningham seconded by Trustee Holston that the City Attorn,
prepare resolutions.
A Communication was received from the Pacific Tel. & Tel. Co., asking permission to
excavate roadway in order to lay an iron pipe across the ro~d. The City Clerk was notified ~o tell
the Telephone Company to drive the pipe underneath the pavement.
A Communics. tion wzs received from E. C. Peck asking that the City place a light on
Eucalyptus Avenue bet~,~een Grand And B~den Avenues. The communication w~s referred to the City Eng~

approved by the fin~nce committee.

Moved by Trustee Healy seconded by ~rustee Wallace that the Board adjourn until
next Monday August 28, ~916, to meet at J10 Linden Avenue.

as prepared by the Assessor of the City of South San ~rsncisco znd submitted to said Bo~rd of Trus~
be, and the same hereby is aecepted and approved as and for the assessment ro~l of the City of Soul
San ~rsncisco for the fiscal year 1916-1917.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by t~
