This meeting was called to order at 8' 0 clock P.~,, by T~stee J.H. Kelley
"President of the Bosrd".
Roll-call
Roll-c~l found the fo~owing Trustees present, to wit;
F.A. C~:n~:ngham, ~.~. Healy, G.W. Holston, Geo. H. Wsllace end J.H. Kelley.

The minutes of the previous meeting weze read ~nd upon motion of T~stee Cunningham seconded
by Truste W~llace and re~larly carried were approved as read.
A petition wes received from ~ Pens of 118 S~n Br~o Road, asking that he be allowed to
install a g~soline t~k undergro~d be~een the curb ~d sidew-alk in front of the above nuber
Upon motion of Trus tee Cunningham seconded by Trustee Wallace ~h~ re~l~ly carried the per-
mission was granted.
~ communication w~-s received from W.J. M~rtin V.P.. of the 8outh S~n Francisco Water C0.
asking that something be done to gaurd the Water supply of ~he City of South San Francisco .
Upon motion of T~stee Cunningh~ seconded by Trustee Healy the City Marshal was instructe
to offer to the W&ter Co., the services of Deputy Marshals providing the Water Co would pay
the wages of said deputies.
Motion carried.
A com~nie~tion was received from the Chamber of Co~erce asking t~t Traffic officers be
placed on the busy corners on Sunday to avoid sccidents.
Moved by Trustee Cunningham seconded by TrusteeHealy that the City L~,rshal be empowered to
employ one or more deputies on Sunday at a wage of ~Z.00 per day, to act as traffic officers

Moved by Trustee Cunningham seconded by Trustee Healy that the matter of the purchase of
a motor cycle for the use of the police Dept.be referred to the Purchaseing committee'
Motion carried.
The bond of the Poundmaster J. Welch who was appointed on AprilS, 191~., and which bond was
presented at this meeting for the approval of the Board was accepted by the Board and ordered
placed on file.
The following demands egainst the City were presented for payment
approved by the finance committee.

or benefitted b.~? the construction of sidewalks,curb~,and gutters ,pavment,stormsewers, latSeral
sewers, c~tch b~sins,manholes, and the work of grading upon commercial Avenue R~ilro~.d Ave.
N~ple Ave.,Spruce Avemue,Na~noli~ Avenue and Orsnge Avenue, in s~id City of South San Fran-
cisco ,as described in Resolution of Intention No. M?, adopted by said Board of Trustees of
