Th&s meeting was called to order at 8 ' 0 clock P.M., by Trustee J.H. Kele~ "President of the

F.A. Cunningham, M.F. Healy, G.W. Holston, Geo. H. Wallace and J.H. Kelley.
Absent Trustees None.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and upon motion of Trustee Cunningham
seconded by Trustee Heal2 and regularly carried were ~pproved as read.
The two applications for a permit for e Class "A" liquor licensewhich were laid over from t~
meeting of Ma2 21et., wa~e again laid over until next meeting of the Board.
An application was received from H. Ado~fo's band to parade on Tuesday June ~th.191~.
Moved~b2 Trustee Holston seconded by Trustee Healy that t~e petition be denied.

An application to build ~. garage to be constructed of galvanized iron was received from A. ~ocatell!
to be built on his premises on San Bruno Road.
Moved.by Trustee Cunningham seconded bp Trustee Healy that the permission be.granted if the garage
was built under the supervision of the Cit~ Marshal.
Moved b2 Trustee Cunnin~hem seconded b~ Trustee Healy that the saloons be kept closed on Tuesday
June 5th. all day.

Moved by Trustee Cunningham seconds6 by Trustee Wallace that the purchasing committee have signs
put up regul&.ting speed of automobiles through Town.

light placed on the Linden Ave, extention on the turn at the outskirts of the City.

in the ?t~'~rm ~ewer ~l Fund, be transfered to the Sewer Fund and the sum of ~21.00 now carried as
Library building Fund be transfered to the General Fund .

Resolved by the Board of Trustees of t~e City of South S~n Francisco that the plan~ and specificati,
submitted by the Citer Engineer of said Cit~ of So~th S~n ~rancisco on t)~e 4th doy of June ,1917,
for the improvment of Lum Avenue ,between ~pruce Avenue and ~d~Tle /.venue, Walnut Avenue between t~
Alley North of ~iller Avenue ~nd M~p!e Avenue ,P~,rk way for the full lenght thereof,Pine ~errace
for tbs fu~ lengn~ thereof, the entire portion of ~pruce Avenue north of the ~lleynorth of ~,~iller ~
~aple Avenue from Miller Avenue to Aspen Avenue and High Street for the full lenght thereof, be,
and the same hereby are accepted as and for the plans and specifications for szid work.
I hereby certif~ that the foregoing r~solution was regularly introduced and adppted by the Board
of Tr-,~tees of the City of South San Francisco,this 4th. day of June,191?, by the following vote;

The reports of City officers for the month of I~ay were then read.

The reoort ortho City Treasurer checked with that of he City Clerk.
The report of the City Recorder showed that the sum of $252.00.had been collected thro.
his office during the month of mzy, 1917, the report of the City Heclth officer showed
that 35 children had treatment for teeth during th~: month of May.
Moved by Trustee W~llace seconded by Trustee Holston that the reportds of all City officers
received ~t this meeting be accepted and placed,on file.
