Rolleall foumd the following Trustees presemt, to wit;
A,J,Esehelbaeh, M.F. Healy, and G.W. Rolston.
Absent Trustees Cunningh~m, and G.W. Holston.
Tye minutes of the previous meeting were read and a~pom--m~tio~ of Trustee Esehelbaeh se~
onded by Trustee Healy end regularly earried were approved as read.
A petition to set poles as per blue print ~246 R. att~ehed to said petitiom was reeeiv~
from the Pae. Gas &Eleetrie Co., and upon motion of Trustee Healy ~eeonded by Trustee
Esehelbaeh and regularly carried was referred to the Publie Utility eommittee.
A eireular letter was received from the League of California Munieipalities inviting
City offieials to ~ttemd the eonvention to be held at Riverside on 0ct. 1B,~9~8,
The ¢ommunieation was l~id over until all members of the BOard of Trustees would be
present.
A copy of a resolution adopted by the Board of Trustees of the City of San Marco,relating
to fines $olleeted under th~ motor vehicle act of the State of C~lifornia by Cities of the
sixth Class,wes reeeived by the Board,and aetion thereon deferred until ne~t meeting of the
Board. '
The reports of City offieers for the month of August were them rea~.
The report of the City Clerk showed the followin$ ,~alaaees, General Fund $?66.60 Library

The report of the City Treasurer eheeked with that of the City Clerk.
The report of the City Recorder showed that the sum of One hundred thirty nine dollars had
been eolleeted through his offiee Aknring the month of August for whieh he ene&osed eheek
The reoort of the Health offieer was also reeived ~bg~ng s number of eases of mumps and
whooping eough also reoorted visit of member of State Board of He lth to local Hotels,
Moved by Trustee Hea]y seconded byTrustee Esehelbaeh that the report of all City offieers
received at this meeting be seeepted and filed.
