Eschelbach, M.'~. itea~y and G. W. Ho]ston . Trustee J. H. Kelley appe'ared after roil call~. The minutes of the Two previo~:s meetings were ~ead and upon motion of Trustee Esche~bach ~econde8 b~; Trustee Healy and. regularly carried were approved as read. A communication w~s received from Chas F. Schurk askin~ for the position of Ei,ectrica] Inspector. The comm~mication was ordered filed until an Ordinance would be drawn up creating the office of electrical inspector. An application for s rermit to conduct a public dance on the night of April E6,1919 ~nd until 4 a.m. of April ~7, 1919 was received from the Panama Pacific Exposition ~odge No. 5, ~nd ~,on motion of Trustee Cunnin:~ham seconded by Trustee Eschelb~c~: and regular'IF carried the permit was ~ranted. A communication w~s received fror: Frank L. Eksward in receipt of one from the City Clerk relating to Assembly Bill No. 147 and Senate Bill No. 105, Mr. Ekswsrd stated that he :~'ould do ail in his Dower to further the passage of the said bills. The communication was ordered placed on file. T'~e City Clerk was instructed to communicate with the South San Francisco Lsnd and Improvment Co~n?sny req~esting them to have Orange Ave between Grand and ;,iiller and Grand Avenue between Orange ~:nd EucslyptusAvenues, cleaned of the sand on the said streets, which was c~used by the rain washing sand banks on their property into the streets. The followinE demands against the City were presented for pal~.~ent the same having been approved by the finance committee. Georgi & Co Enterprise Press Dudley B.
