This meeting was called to order at 8 0' clock p.m.,by Trustee G.W. Holston "President of
the Board".
R~ll-call
Ro!l call found the following Trustees present,to wit;
P.A. Cunningham, A.J. Eschelbach,J.~{. Kelley an~ G.W. golston.
Absent Trustee M.£. Healy.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and ~pon motion of Tr~s~ee Kelley seconded by
Trustee Eschelbach and regularly carried were a!proved as read.
The ' reverand Baniel Stevens of ~t Pauls.Episcopal Church appeared before the Board of Trus~ es
at this time and asked that permission be given for the removal of ~t ~auls Episcopal C~urch from
its present site to the South East corner of l~iller and Maple Avenues to be occupied temporally
during the construction of a new church on the present site,
~.~oved by Tr~stee Cunningham seconded ~rustee Kelley th~ the permission be granted and tha~
the church be allowed on the tempmrsry which is within the fire limits ,for a period of one year

Application to ~ave an Electric Piano and to play s~me up to the hour of 10 P.~d. in his restaura~
on Grand ~venue was received from L. Poulos.
~,~oved by Trustee Cunningham seconded by Trustee Kelley that the matter be laid over
membership of the Bo~rd were present.

A communication was received from J.L. Debenedetti enclosing plsn for the alteration of his buil~
ins on the corner of Grand and Cypress Avenue.
Moved by Trustee Cunninghsm seconded by ~rustee Eschelbach that a)~lication of J.L. Debenedetti
to ma~e repairs as per the plan received be granted.
Motion carried
The fo]].owin~r resolution was then introduced by Trustee Kelley.
Resolved by the Board of Trustees ~f~$he~C~ty of South San Francisco that t~e oresident or the
acid Bo~ra of Trustees and the C~t~ ~er~ ce, and they hereby are authorized anR directed,in the
.~r~o~te name of s~&d City and under its corporate seal,to execute an aEreement witL Pacific Gas
& Electric Company, a corporation,for the lighting of ~Le {~l~treets and highways of said Cit~
for the year b~ginning JanuarylT, t%~20,and eMding January
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced a~d adopted by the
Board of Trustees of the City of South Sgn Francisco this 24th day of February,1920,by the follow-

This being the date set for the reception of bi~s for the excavation of a roadway leading to
the new City Hall,it was moved by Trustees Cunningham seconded by Trustee Eschelbach that the bids
be opened.

The only bid received was that of Larsen Sam,,son company ,snd was as follows ,all grinding asper
plgn of ~ner & Coffey Architects for the sum of Two Hundred fifty (gd~) Dollars.
The following resolution was then introduced by Trustee Cunningham.
Whereas' the Board of Trustees of the City of South Ssn Francisco did,in open session on th® 24th
day of February,- 1920,publJcly o~.en,e×ar~ine and dec![re all sealed -orcposals or bids for doing the
following work in said City,to-v:it: The grading of a driveway for tho City Hall,in accordance with
the flung and si~ecifications hitherto ado!ted foe doin~r said work and now on file in the office of
the ~ity Clekk. -
The successful bidder shall withi~ Ten (10) ~sys after the ~ard,enter into a contract with the
City of South San Fra~clsco for the faithful performance of the work to be done under said award.
