Adjourned meeting of th, Boaed of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco, held Monday,
June the 28th.,I920, at ~0 Linden Ave. ~ ~
The meeting was called to order ~t.8 o'clock P.~. by G.W.Holst~n, President of the B°ard.
Roll Call.
Roll call found the following Trustees present , to -wit:-
A.J~Eschelbach, H.Scampini and G.W.Holston.
Absent, Trustees, ~.A.cunningham and L.G.Hsrdy, Jr.
The minutes of the previous were read and upon Motion of Trustee ESchelbsch, seconded by
Trustee $canpimi and re~!~rly carried wer~pproved as read.
A communication ~s received from the South San Francisco Land and Improvement ~o. asking
for a re~nm~ of $~0.80 on account of a double assessment 6f Improvements on lots IZr IA
I6-I? b~°ck 8Z located at 810 ~d 8~2 grand Ave. On ~otion of Trustee Eschelbach seconded by
Trustee Sc~mpini and regularly c~rried the communication was ~b~d and the~clerk instructed
to make out check for the amount.
An Ordinance prohibiting the sale of guns, pistols, revolvers and other firearms ~nd air-guns
i~ the city of So~th S~n Francisco was introduced by Trustee Sc~mpini for its first reading.
L~rs. Mary De Vita nade request upon the Board to purchase two Auto Contest Coupons from her
~t $I0.00 each. the same being the equivalent of cash with'The Enterprise ~ress and acceptable ss
such from the City of South San Francisco in pa~jment for prin~ing. ~ioved by Trustee Sc~pini seco~
by Tr~t~ee Eschelbach that the request be gr~nted ~nd the City Clerk instruct~ed,to ~ake ~ut check
for the ~0uponS.' Carrie&
A co~unicotion w~s received from Mrs. Jubi~iua Jeffrich asking per~sion to build a g~r~ge
wood on ~he rear of her~- lot between L~uden ~ud ~ple ~nd bet~,een Grand and Baden ~n~
