evening, July the l~th., 1920 at al0 Linden Ave.
The meeting was ealled to order at 8 o'clock P.M. by G.W.Holston, President,of the Board.
Roll call found the following ~ustees presemt, to-wit;-
F.~.Cunningham,H. Scampini and G.W.Holston.
Absent, Trustees L.G.Hardy Jr. A.J.Eschelbach. Trustee Eschelbach appeared after roll oall,.
A communication was received from the S~P.Railroad Company. stating that the cost of the eul
vert st Butler Road would be approximately $17,000 and the one at Cedar ~ve ~13,000. The communiea
tion was aecepted and filed and the matter referred to the Clty Engineer for further conference.
A communication was received from the M.G.WesZ Co advocating the use of their fixtures in
the City Hall Accepted and filed.
A petition wa s received from ~ committee of the Fraternal. Lodges asking for permission
to hold. an all night dance ~aturday Eve ~ July the 31. Permission granted.
The City Clerk was instructed to write to the ~nited Railroads, the Pac. Gas & Electric Co
and the Pac Tel&Tel CO asking the use of their poles for the Fire Alarm system now being installed,
The street committee reported that the Pac Gas & Electric Co had failed to install the lights
ordered for the High School District at Walnut Ave and the Alley at ~ypress Bet Baden & Grsnd~Ave
The Clerk wa sinstructed to write the company asking them to attend to the matter at once.
Trustee Scampini introduced the following resolution;-Resolved by the Board of Trustees of the City of South San ~rancisco,that the sum of
nine thousand eight hundred sixteen dollars and five cents~9815.05) be paid to C.B.Cowden under
the terms of his contract with said City for the construction of a sewer system ~ast of the San
Bruno Road.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted
by the Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco , this 19th day of July, 1920. by the
following vote;-
Ayes , Trustees, F.A.Cunningham, A.J.Eschelbach. H. Scampini and G.W.Holston. Noes, None,
Absent, Trustee L.G.Hardy. Jr.
Attest , Daniel McSweeney, City Clerk and ex-officio clerk of
the Board of Trustees.
The following resolution was introduced by Trustee Cunningham;-
Resolved bt the Board of Trustees if the City of South San Francisco, that the sun...'o£ ten
thousand eighty -seven dollars and fifty-two cents I10087.52) be paid the Larsen-Sampson Co.,on
their contract for the construction of the City Hall,pursuant to certificate ~5 dated July thegth
1920, of Werner&ooffey, ~rchltects.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
Board of Trustees cz t~e 0ity of South San Francisco, 19th day of July, 1920, by the following
vote.-
Ayes, Trustees, F.A.ounningham,~..J.~schelbach. H.Scsmpini,G.W.Holston.
Noes Trustees, None.

Trustee Scampini reported that he had received notice from resicents that the streets in
their neighborhooa needed sweeping. The matter was taken up by the street cleaner and the stree~
committee.

On motion of Trustee Cunningham ,e~nded by Trustee~the claim~ were allowed and the bills or
dered paid,having been approved by the finance committee.
On motion of Trustee Cunningham seconded by Trustee Scam~ini the Board adjourned
to meet-again Monday,A~g;~/ the 2nd., 1920 at 310 Linden Ave,
