Franciseo, held Monday, May nin~th, 1921, at the City Hall.
The meeting.was called to order by Trustee G,W,Holston, president of the Board.
at eight thirty,(P;M.) 8.30.
Roll Call.
R~ll call foumd the following Trustees present, to-wit;-
F.A.Cunningham, .A.J.Eschelbach,L.G.~ardy Jr.,G.W.~olston,
Absent.Trustee, E. Scampini.
The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed with.
THe Clerk was instructed to write to the Pacific Gas and Electric Co. requesting
them to place a light at the intersection of Chepman and Randolph Avenues, Peck's Sub-division,
one at the alley of Maple Avenue between Miller ~nd Grand Avenues,and one at the alley of Maple
Avenue between Baden And Grand Avenues.
The Clerk was instructed to write to the Boaed of Fire Underwriters of the Pacifi~
notifying them that this ~ity had installed a fire alarm telegraph system, ~nd was about to ~ass an
ordinance establishing fire limits, regulating the construction of buildings, etc., and inviting
them to confer with the City authorities with a view te secure reduction in insurance r~tes.
~ communication was received from the Gamewell Fire Alarm ~elegraph Company, in
answer to a communication from the ~ity,st~.ting that the matter of repairing the diaphone wo~ld be
attended to immediately.
An application for the position of Electrical Xnspector was received from Wm. Ely,
345 C~mmercial Avenue, this City.Accepted and filed.
Cab~niss Ed Johnson made application for a soft drink license for his proposed
piace of business ~90 Grand Avenue.for restaurant purposes. Referred to the City Marshal.

TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,ON THE ?th DAY OF JULY,1913, was formally introduced by
Trustee Cunningham for its first reading,and wa~ laid over to be taken up under the regular order
business at the next regular meeting of the Board of Trustees.

The motion was seconded by Trustee Hardy and regularly carried.
There being no further business before the Board Trustee Eechelbach moved adjour:
