December ~gth, ]921. st the ~ity ~all.
The meeting was called to order at 8 o'clock p.m. by ~rus~ee G.W.~olston, ~resident of the
~oard. moll call found ali. ~rustees present,to-wii:~'.~.uunningham,A.~.Hschelbach,L.~.nardy or.,H.~c~mpini
~.M~.nolston. The minutes of the previous meeting were rea~ and upon motion of ~rustee ~schelbach seconded by
~c~mpini and regularly carried were approved.
~ written communication w~s received from the ~ity ~arshal stating that ~.E.Johnson, who holds
soft drink license ~46,hsd changed his place of business from ~90 ~rand Avenue to ~88, Grsnd Avenue
without receiving permission from the ~oard of ~rustees or notifying the city ~arshsl. The ~ity clark w
was instructed to notify ~,~r. Johnson to appear before the ~oard of Trustees on Tuesday emening ~an. Srd
1922, to show cause why his soft drink license should not be revoked and a~fine imposed for violating
section & of ~rdin~nce ~10~.
A communication was received from the ~anuf~cturers Association endorsing ~r. J.W.Virgin for
the position of Police *fficer. bommunication filed.
An application for the position of Policeman smd relief fireman was received from Louis 8elloni
of South San ~'rancisco. Trustee ~unningham moved that Louis Belloni be appointed to the position of
policeman and relief fireman, at a salary of ~125.00 per month, services to begin January 1st
1922. The motion w~s seconded by Trustee Aschelb[ch and regularly carried.
The r~port of the city ~reasurer ~.P.Eauffman, for the month of ~ovember was ~eceived. On
notion of Trustee Hardy seconded by Trustee 5campini the report was accepted as read.
The application for & soft drink license of John Brusa was laid over for investigation.

Absent,Bo~e. WM.Hlckey appeared before the ~oard in answer to a summnms to be present and ~how cause why
his plumber's license should not be ~a- revoked for the manner in which his repair work was done.
on agreeing to perform first class repair work in future and to put in firs~ class order certain
streets now torn up he was allowed to retain his license..
The clerk was instructed to writ e the oouth S.:'.Water co,and send ~srbon ~op~es to Geo.
Chapman And J.0.Snyder, to the effect that the Water ~ompany has left the streetsunrepaired at Linden
Avenue and Ermour Avenue and ~calyptus between Grand Avenue and baden ~.venue.it was stipulated that
concrete and bitumen be used in this repair work, according ta the city ordinance.
~'rustee ~unninghsm moved that all city employees be give their December pay checks
before christmas. The motion was seconded by ~rustee ~schelbach and regul~rly carried. !
Trustee cunnin~mm moved that the salaries of the ~ity. Attorney, city ~,,~rshal
~eputy Tax Collector be raised ~25.00 Der month. The motion was seconded by Trustee hardy and regularly
carried.
The following claims against the ~ity were next presented for payment;-

The bills having been approved by the finance ~ommittee ~rustee nschelbach moved
they be paid. The motion was seconded by Trustee nsedy and regularly carried.
There being no further business before the ~oa~d Trustee Scsmpini moved
adjournment until the next regular meeting TueSday Osnuary Zrc,1922, at 8 o'clock p.m. The motion
was seconded by Trustee -ardy and.re~lariy carried
