~oll call found the following ~rustees oresent,to-wit:-

Absent, Trustees, F.A.Cunningham, n. Scampini.
The minutes of t~..e previous meeting were read ~nd u~on motion of frustee nardy seconded by
Trustee ~schelbach and regularly carried were approved,
A co~]munic~tion was received from Schwzb~cher-~Tey Stationery ~o. offering the official
uslifornia Automobile negistration of 1922 for the sum of ~.150.00. The ulerk was instructed to order on
for the use of the ~ity ~ia.rshal.
A petition was received from South Esn ~'rancisco ~rove ~IT1,J.A.0.D. for permission to hold a
d~nce on Ezturday evening karch 4tn,1922, for the benefit of a sick member, tloved by Trustee ~srdy
seconded by Trustee Eschelbach that the permission be gr~nted, uerried.
A request for a refund of ta~es was received from Paul nennick, on account of the Soldier's
~xemption law. On motion of Trustee ~ardy seconded by ~rustee ~schelb[.ch and regularly carried the
request ~as granted and the clerk instructed to refund the sum of ~14.40, the amount due according to
the rate.
A co~munication and check for ~19~ were received from ~'.A.Cunningf~am, chairman of the ~hristm
~eal Seles. ~r ~unningham stated that he had remitted the other ~25 of the collections to the head-
quarters of the ualifornia Tuberculosis A~soci~tion at ~'resno; the ~lgZ, ~outh Sen ~'rancisco's ~ortion
to be placed in a ~ity fund to ss~ist children suffering with or threatened with tuberc~losis. The
ulerk was instructed to scknowledg~ the receipt of the letter ~nd check, it was suggested thst the
new fund be ca!led the "Anti-tuberculosis fund."
A communication and check for ~7.5Z were received from the ~ation~] ~urety uompany, the chec
being a refund on account of c~ncellation of the ~ty's ~'orgery ~ond, December 20th, 1921. Accepted.
The application of Pc%er uurusis for a soft drink license, action on which had been postponed
from previous meetings,was finally rejected.
The applications of ~lph Ambrose, S.P.notel and uurusis Druthers, ~4~ ~rand Avenue for soft
drink licenses were gr&nted by the following vote:-
