A regularly adjourne$ meeting of the BoaZd of ~rustees of the City of South San ~rancisco was held in'the City,Hall Friday evening, April £4th,1925 The meeting was called to order at 7:ZO o'clock p-.m. by Trustee H.ff.~cNellis, President of the board. ROLL CALL, Roll cai. 1 found the follgwing trustees peesent, to-wit:- Trustee, F.A.Cunningham, A.J.Eschelbach, H,McCaffrey, H.F.McNe]lis. Absent, Trustee, Carl Blank.. The reading o'f the ~ninutes'of the previous meeting was-dispensed with. A communicatiCn was received from J.K. ~[cLeod. northwest corner of Laurel and Grand Avenues, asking the board's permission to remove a tree from his corner,, as ~he sa~e is interfering with ti~e building of his home. Permission gr'anted. Nicholas Sa~co requested'the board to furnish a house n~E~er for his lot ~8 Block ~l ~alley Park Subdivision. The clerk was instructeG to request the number from the engineer.. A communication notice was sent ta the board by the ~ecretary of the Railroad ~ommission in the matter of the application of the South San Francisco Water Company for an increase in rates, stating the had been re-set for hiay 8th,1925. Filed. Applica~ion was made by the Pacific ~as & i~lectric Company requesting permission to set Do~es on Walnut Avenue between Lux and ~laple Avenues, to supply new consun..~ers. R~ferred to the street committee, who recommended perz~ission be ~ranted. J.0.Snyder, Superintendent of the South San ?rancisco Water Company appeared before the board with reference to the city's application for the installation' of the new double water hydrante. ne Stated the three double hydrants ordered would be :set. at ti~e places desired. president i,lcNellis stated the Eagles co~;mittee on circus had requested that tJ~e date of commencement ~e changed to i,lay 5th from May 12. On ~,otion regularly carried the board granted permissi, to make the change. The adoption of ti~e resolution which'. South San Francisco Land ComN~any had prepared '' in connection~', wit~ the city's acceptance of the 20 acre p~:r~, laid over from the previous meeting, was given furtLer consideration. 2o agreement being reached · a ~:~conference between t~Le trustees and Land Company representatives was proposed for Monday afternoon, by J.0.Snydor. All agreeing on this President ~.icNellis a~?ointed the Board of Trustees and City attorney Davis to represent the city.
