The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the bity of South San Francisco was held
in the City Hall Mond~y evening, June 15th,19~.
The meeting was called to order at ?:~0 o'clock p,m. by ~rust~e E.F.~CNellis, President
the board.
ROLL CALL.
Roll call i'ound all trusteespresent,to-wit, Trustees, Blank,Cunningnam,Eschelbach,McOaf£re
and McNellis.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read, and there being no er~,'ors or omissions were
approved as read.
A communication was received from the Crocker Lstate in reply to the city's letter request
'them to trim the trees in the vicinity el' Peck's ~ots, which were Overhanging certain houses there.
The communication stated the v, ork~had already been attended to. The clerk w~s instructed to acknowle
receipt of the letter.
An application for a permit to hold ~: dance in Fraternal hall Saturday evening July llth,
was received from the BIG SS~S ...... ~'

A,.O.Kteemeyer, Secretary of the f:chool Board submitted e communication to the boara stating
the ~chool department would in future take care of tie cutting off weeas in ffronz of school property.

Officer Joseph Bil~hsuer requeste leave off absence off two week~ beginning July 6th. ~ranted
City Clerk Dan LicSweeney requested leave of ~b~ence off two weeks begi~ing July lbth, Granted.
The following were granted pool room licenses,Colombo and Tapella,Ernest ~alli'Angelo ~enov
Stanley & i4ickerson,G.Arias and Zhomas Connolly. The application of Felix Miranda for a pool room

The board's attention ~as called to the poor condition of the roadway of Grand Avenue Exten
near the old Mission 2, cad, p~rticu!arly between the street car tracks. The clerk v;as instructed to
write the Llarket street railway and request that they repair the zZreet between and adjacent to thai
tracks at this point, and up to Leipsi~ Urossing.
