The regular meeting of the Board of 2rustees of the City of South San Francisco was held
in the City Hall Monday evening July 20th,1925.
In the absence of tile city cler~ on vacation city attorney John ,.Levis read the minutes
the orevious m~etin~ and Llesnor Eyan acted ss clerk pro tern.

An application was received from the poli~~, cepartment ~,sking permission to hold a dance
Fraternal tlall Saturday evening, £ug~st lst,1925. !Oermit granted.
The South bity Plumbing £h0p made application for permission to con~:truct a sewer in the
alley west of Spruce Avenue between Miller and High School. Permission granted.
A petition was received fr'om S Gozzera asking permission ~o hold dances at the Poodle I
~afe, Saturday nights until twelve o'clock m. Permission .granted.
Application was made by i{egina Elena Circle No.97,f..or. perP, i~sion to hold a dance in Fret
Hall Saturday evening August 15th,19s5,the s~.me to continue unz'il ~ a.m. Permit g~anted.

In the matter of garbage disposal it was de~ided by the board to confer with the City
San Bruno with a view to having both citie~ joining in the ~i~po~a. 1 o~' th~ garbage. The clerk w~s
instructed to write the Board of ~rustees of ~;an Bruno asking them to con£er with the Board of Trus
of this city relative to the mat~er.
The clerk w~s instructed to write the Southern Pacific Company inquiring as to the cost
of installing a signal ~y~tem at the uro~sing at the west end of orange ~venue and if the company
undertake to install the ~a. me, the city paying the cost,
