Pursuant to adjournment, a meeting of the Board of Trustees of 1he Cit?f of South San Francisco
was held on Monday, Pay 9th, 1927.
By reason of the absence of True'tee F.A.Cunningham, President of said Board of Trustees, 'trust
A.J.Eschelbach was chosen by the unanimous vote of all trustees. 'resent to act as President Pro Tem, o
said Board of Trustees.
This meeting was called to order at 7;30 o'clock p.m. by Trustee A.J.Eschelbach, acting as Pre
t pro t'em.of said board of Trustees.
ROLL CALL
Roll call found the following trustees present, to-wit;
A.J.Eschelbach, Re~se Lloyd, Li.~linucciani and R.Tibbetts.
The reading of the minutes of the prev.~ous meeting was dispensed with.
The following ordinance was then introduced by Trustee Tibbetts;
ORDINANCE ~-
An ordinance calling a special election in the ~ ~. of South San Francisco, County of gan ~ate
State of California, for the purpose of submitting and submitting to the ~ualified electors of the Ci
of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation, a y. roposition to incur a bonded indebtedness thereof
to pay the cost of certain ~ublic minici!.al im!:~rovements the cost of which said m~icipal improvemen
will be too great to be ~:~aid out of the ord:Tnary un ~
a.~.ua~, income and revenue of said Cit,~ of South San
Francisco, and will in addition to t,~e other expenditures of said city of South San Francisco, exceed
t~e income and revenue ~rovided for in ~ny one year and fi::ing Tuesday, the 7th aay of J~e, 1927,
as the date u]~on which said e!ec~io~i shall be held; the m~ner of holding said election ~d voting
for or against incurring such indebtedness; a],'~o declaring the estimated cost of said prolosed publi

regular order of business at the next meeting of the board.
A comm~ication was received from ~rank Scarrone asking permission to move his building, the

in Palm Avenue. Permission granted with '~he request that the pole at the ally between Idiller L falm
Avenues be moved to the north side of the ally.
R.C.Stickle appeared befor~e the board with ref:~rence to the erection of a building for store
and dwelling pur-[~oses : t Cypress and Lua: Avenues. This section of the city being au side ':_ks fire limits
of the first aerie and m':s~rieted for business purposes .~erm~sion to b~i!d was granted.
City Inspector Brawn report, ed a se;'~er broken at Grand & ~.~nol~a Avenues. ~,eferre~ to the
street committee.
The subject of weed cleaning was brought to the attention of -the board, and the city attorney
was instructed to begin the necessary p~'ocedure~: at the ne::t meeting.
The city attorney was also requested to draw uF amendments to the zoning and ffire ordinances
and to secure a series of maps of the districts for the guidance of builders, inspectors, trustees
and other city officials.
