The regular meeting of the 0ity Council of the City of South San Francisco was held in the
City Hall Monday evening, November ?th,19Z?.
The meeting was called to order at ?;Z0 o'clock-~.m, by Councilman A.J.Lschelbach, L[ayor of
South San Francisco.
ROLL CALL.
Roll call fo-~nd all members of the council present, to-v:it;-

The minutes of the two '~revious meetings: were regal. There beinj no errors or omi~sions
Councilman Tibbetts moved they be adopted as read. The motion was seconded by Com~cilman Liinucciani
andrea:ul~-~ .~rly carried.
A comm~ication was received from the Peace Officer's .~s~o.: cmatmon' ' of the State of California,
recuesting all members of the as[~ociatlon to attend the convention at Sacramento on the 14th 15th and
16th November. 0n motion by Councilman Lloyd seconded by Councilman tl~ding ~d regularly carried
Chief of Police Belloni was delegated to attend the convention.
Request was made by the Geo. H.Merritl Company for tlc deputizing of their watchman, Albert
~.Smith as a specis! ~olice officer with au~hormt~ to c,?rry firearms. 0n motion by Councilman Lloyd
ref~ularly carrie~ the request:as gr~tefi with the proviso that his authority be confined to the i~
plant only, and without emo!maents from the ~ity of ~outh 2~. Francisco.
Acknowledgement was received from the Southern Pacific Comply to %he city's request to
rems[ir and fill in the tracks at the Southern Pacific Depot at Swift & Grand Avenues for the full width
of the street, The comply expressed regret t]~e ~rossing is in such bad condition and stated the matter
would have prompt attention.

A co~atmication was received from Fire Chief I.;urphy of the o~
relative to this city's offer to lend assistance in case of fire at I~iills Field Airport th~,~t,,z,-o the
Cit7 Co'ncil end offering this city any assistance possible ~n case of fire trouble. Communicaticn
ordered filed.
A communication was received from the Redmen Base Ba'll Ueam ssking for a fifty-fifty chance
in the use of the city's new base ball groun s on ~' ~',, '
