' CONSENT CALENDAR
1. Motion to approve the minutes of the April 26, 2000 regular meeting
2. Motion to confirm expense claims of May 10, 2000 in the amount of $41,314.46
Motion-Mullin/Second-Fernekes: To approve the Consent Calendar as presented.
Approved by voice vote. Absent: Boardmember Penna.
ADMINISTRATIVE BUSINESS
3. Resolution approving the report to City Council on proposed Second Amendment to the
El Camino Redevelopment Plan, and requesting a joint public hearing on the Second
Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for the E1 Camino Corridor Redevelopment
Project Area
Staff report presented by Redevelopment Project Manager Beyer.
Boardmember Mullin clarified, and staff confirmed the following: that the School District
site and high school site are two separate sites being withdrawn from the project area, and
that all comments received will be responded to as part of the final EIR. He further
discussed the tax increment process with Project Manager Beyer, who confirmed that
there will not be an increase in taxes collected even though the project area size is
increasing.
Motion-Mullin/Second-Fernekes: To approve Resolution No. 9-2000, receiving the
report to the City Council on the proposed Second Amendment to the El Camino
Corridor Redevelopment Project Area, and consent to a joint public hearing on the
Second Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for the E1 Camino Redevelopment
Project Area. Approved by voice vote. Absent: Boardmember Penna.
