ROLL CALL Present: Boardmembers Gonzalez, Mullin and Penna, Vice
Chair Fernekes and Chair Matsumoto
Absent: None
AGENDA REVIEW No changes
CONSENT CALENDAR
1. Motion to approve the minutes of the June 14, 2000 regular meeting
2. Motion to confirm expense claims of June 28, 2000 in the amount of $65,719.83
3. Resolution approving the sale and transfer of interests under the owner participation
agreement (OPA) to Slough Estates, USA, Inc. and Slough BTC, LLC
Councilman Mullin requested Agenda Item No. 3 be removed from the Consent
Calendar.
Motion-Femekes/Second-Gonzalez: To approve Consent Calendar Item Nos. 1 and 2.
Unanimously approved by voice vote.
In response to Councilman Mullin's question regarding terms of the agreement and
clarification of the time limit, staff stated the agreement is for a two year extension
beyond its original time limit. Terms are likely to be altered when a new agreement is
negotiated with the new developer.
Motion-Mullin/Second-Fernekes: To approve Resolution No. 16-2000, approving the
sale of property and transfer of interests pursuant to that certain owner participation
agreement between the Redevelopment Agency of South an Francisco and Bay West
Cove, L.L.C., and approving an amendment to that owner participation agreement to
allow for additional time for construction of improvements. Unanimously approved by
voice vote.
