SOUTH SAN PRANCISC0, HELD MONDAY, FEB. 3, 1930.
The regular meeting of the City Co,mucil of the City of South San Prancisco was
held in the City Hall, Monday evening, February 3, 1930.
The me,ting was called to order at ?:30 o'clock p. m. by Councilman A. J. Eschelbach,
Mayor of South San Francisco.
ROLL CALL.
Roll Call found all member of the council present, to-w it:
Councilmen A. Hynding, R. Lloyd, M. Minuceiani, R. Tibbetts, A. J. Eschelbach.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read. There being no errors or omissions
Councilman Tibbetts moved they be adopted as read. The motion was seconded by Councilman
Minucciani and regularly carried.
A communication was received by the school Board endorsing the proposition of building
a road to Peck's Lots.
Requests from Annie Flink and Minnie Hendel for positions on the election board were
received and ordered placed on file.
The Remington Rand Business Service Inc. submitted a propostion to furnish a file
for the clerk's office for the sum of $93.35. Laid over for consideration.
An application for a soft drink ~license was received from E. Bonalanza for the
location 306 Sau Bruno Road. Referred to the police commission.
The reports of the Building Inspector, Fire Chief, Chief of Police, Health Officer,
Municipal judge and City Clerk for the month ending January 31, were received end accepted.
Growers Rice Milling Company requested action be taken to improve the road leading t¢
their plant. Referred to the council and City Engineer for investigation. RESOLUTION CORRECTING RESOLUTION 0P AWARD no. 68.
A resolution correcting the Resolution of Award in proceedings No. 68 was introduced
by Councilman Minucciani and adopted by the unanimous vote of all the councilmen, to-wit:
Ayes, Councilmen A. Hynding, R. Lloyd, M. Minuociani, R. Tibbetts, A. J. Eschelbach.
Noes, Councilman NONE Absent, Councilman NONE.

ORDINANCE NO. 153.
Ordinance No. 153, an ordinance calling for a special election in the City of South
San Francisco on February 25, 1930, to vote on the propositions t~ raise funds for the
acquis~ion of three park si~es, the improvement of the park site now owned by the city, the
improvement of Orange Avenue, and the construction of a swimming pool, had its second read-
ing and was adopted as an ordinance of the City of South San Francisco by the unanimous vote
of all the members of the city council, to-wit:
Ayes, Councilmen A. Hynding, R. Lloyd, N. Minucciani, R. Tibbetts, A. J.Eschelbach.
Noes, Councilmen~ NONE Absent~ Councilmen NONE.

Regina Elena Circle of Druids was granted permt~sionlto dance, Saturday evening,
February 15, 1930.
Claims in the amount of $1176.52 were next presented to the council for payment.
The finance committee having audited the claims Councilmen Lloyd moved they be paid. The
motion was seconded by councilan Tibbetts and regularly carried.
