1933.
The regular meeting of the City Council of the City of South San ~rancisco was held
in the city hall Eonday evening,August 21st,1933.
The meeting was called to order at 7;30 o'clock p.m. by hayor Joseph P.Ouinlan.
~0LL CALL.
Holl call found all members of the council present,to-wit;-
Councilmen ,V. Boido ,~.Lloyd, Li.~finucci ani ,R.Tibbetts, Joseph P. ~uinlan.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read. There being no errors or omissions
they were approved as read.
A communication was received from auditors Gordon Howe Company, offering to perform
work of auditing the city's books for the -fiscal year 19~3;1934 for the su~_.,of $500 ~ustead o:
present price of $600 per annum , and the following three years for the sum of [600, per annum
previous years. On motion by ceuncilman Yloyd,seconded by councilman Minucciani the Gordon Row,
Company was employed for the fiscal year i1933--34 at the price mentioned in the communication,

The ~hell 0il Go.requested a refund of vehicle of two dollars. Request denied.
A communication from the Superior California Public E~vnership Leagme invited the
city council to attend their at Sacramento Pair Week. Communication accepted and placed on fil~
A communication from the San ~;~ateo County Emergency Relief Committee requested the c~
to submit a list of projects for unemployed. Accepted and placed on file,
The request of Theresa Germano for a refund of #~4,32 on account of taxes was laid
over.
A request from the fire chief to change certain lines of the city to conform with
existing conditions was referred to Mr. Coleberd,city attorney.
Charles Grant was granted a permit to sell Bert on sale. Granted. The application of
J,Borla and F. JacObs to sell be~r on and off sale was granted. The licenses of G.Berrone revoke
On motion by councilman Tibbetts seconded by councilman Boido the salary of ~¥~arion
Petrol was made ~ilZ§ per month,commencing September lst,1933.
Claims in the amount of $498.65 were Lnext presented to the council for payment;-

The claims having been audited by the finance committee councilman Lloyd moved they
paid. The motion was seconded by 0ouncilman Tibbetts a~d regularly carried.

regular meeting,T~esday ,September ~th,1933. The motion was seconded by councilman Boido and
regularly carried.
