A regularly adjourned meeting of the city council of the City of South San Francisco
was held in the city hall Friday evening, i~arch 9th,1934.
This meeting was called to order at 7;30 o'clock p.m. by ~ayor Joseph P.~uinlan.
ROLL CALL.
Roll call found the following mem%~ers of the council present;-to-wit;-
Councilmen, ¥.Boido,R. Lloyd,R.Tibbetts,Joseph P.Cuinlan.
Absent, C ounci lman ,~. }~inUc ciani.
The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed with.
An application for a soldiers free license to sell Blue Ribbon ?roducts was made by
~harles ~.Call. On motion by Councilman Lloyd,seconded by Councilman Boido and regularly carri
the license was granted.
The Baden Kennel Club through ?resident R.C.Stickle wrote a communication stating the
club intended opening the Spring ~eet on .~rch 15th,19$4,and asked the council's approval of
accepting a portion of the license fee before opening. On motion by Councilman ~inucciani,
seconded by ~ouncilman Tibbetts and regularly carried the ~esired avproval was granted.
:~ communication was received from the South San Francisco Board of Education,thanking
~he City of South San Francisco for the ten lighting standard'donated them by the city for
Lighting up school districts,and requested ten more. On motion by ~ouncilmau Lloyd,seconded
by ~ouncilmau Boido and regularly carried the request for ten more standards was granted.
The request of Nanuel Coats and Freferico Rozzi for an~investigation regardi~ a rais,
'n valuations of certain parcels of their koldings was referred to the Board of Equaliz&tion,
~he second Nonday in August.
I'~NICIPAL ELE~TION EESOLUTION.
A resolution of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco providing for
holding a genezal municipal election in the City of ~outh San Francisco on April 9th,1934,
designating polling places,appointing election officers and consolidating the city's twelve
supervisorial precincts into four mmuici~al precincts, was introduced by Councilman Lloyd,an~
was adopted by the votes of all the mem]:,~"~ of the city council present,to-wit;-

The claims having ~een approved by the finance comm~ittee Councilmau Tibbetts moved
~hey be paid. The motion was seconded by ~ouncilman Boido and regularly carried.
There being no further business before the council,Councilman Boido moved to adjourn
umtil ~onday evening,Narch lZth,1934,at 7;~0 o'clock p.m. The motion was seconded by councilm
Tibbetts and regularly carried.
