Call and waiver of notice of special meeting of the City Council;-
The undersigned members of the city council of the City of South San Francisco hereby
call a special meeting of said 6ity Council to be held in the Council Chamber of the City ~
on Wednesday, June 9,1943,at the hour of 7;30 o'clock P.~(, for the pur?oses of considering
and acting upon a-resolution ordering abatement of weeds ,and such other business as may
regularly come before said city council; and we hereby waive notlce of said meeting and
consent to t~e transaction thereat of all such business as may regularly come before said
meeting.

This meeting was called to order at 7;Z0 o'clock P.~. by ~ayor D.W.Ratto.
ROLL CALL.
Roll call found the following members of the board present;-
Councilmen ~.~inuccian, Victor Boido and D.W.Ratto.
Absent, Councilmen,George W.Holston,Reese Lloyd.
The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed with.
RESOLUTION N0.904.
Councilman ~inucciani introduced a resolution of the city council of the City of
South ~an Francisco ordering the abatement of weeds, 194~.
The resolution was adopted by the votes of the followin[il mmmed members of the Council
as follows, Ayes, Councilmen~V.Boido, M.~'~inucciani,D.N.Ratto.
Noes, Councilmen,None.
Absent,Councilmen,George W.Holstom, Reese Lloyd.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution w~s regularly introduced and
adopted by the city council of the City of South San Francisco,this 9th day of June,1943.

The City'at~0rney announced that~at a conference on the proposed Cufew ordinance all pattie

di~ not agree on the hour, and advised that all _ounczlmen be present at a meeting later wh
the matter would be further discussed. ~ayor ~atto noted thet the time set at San Bruno is
different from the proposed ordinance in other places. Councilman Boido suggested that the
hours should be uniform,especially in cities adjacent to industries. ~ayor ~atto asked that
the meeting be held in ~outh San Francisco,and instructed City Attorney to call all council'
of the aounty to attend at a date to be set by ~r. Coleberd.
~ayor Ratto reported that Belair Shipyard wanted t~ rent a roller from the city,paying
gas,oil,driver,etc,and pay the regular rent prevailing. Councilman Ninuccianl moved the cit
grant the use of the machine at the regular charge. The motion was seconded by councilman
Boido and regularly carried.
