HELD WEDiESDAY, JUNE 30,1943.
Call and waiver of notice of a special meeting of the city council of the City of
south gan Francisco,of which the following is a copy;-
flhe undersigned members of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco hereby
call a special meeting of said ~ity Council to be held in the ~ouncil 5hamber in the City Hal
on ~'?ednesday, the 30th day of June,1943, at the hour ol~ V;30 o'clock P.Iv~. to consider the
proposal of Cyclone Fence Company to remove and replace 1490 feet of the axis.ting chain link
wire fence on the easterly side of Industrial ~ay in said city~ s~:, ~o transact all such
other business as may regularly come before said meeting; and we hereby waive notice of said
meeting and consent to the transaction thereat of all such business as may regularly come
before said meeting.

~his special meeting was called to order at ~;~0 08Clock P.Y. by ~ayor D.W.Ratto.
ROLL CALL.
Roll call found the following named members of the council present;-
Councilmen,Victor Boido,Geor~e ~.Holston,Michael ~'~inucciani,D.W.Ratto.
Councilmen, absent, Reese Lloyd.
The reading of the minutes of t~e orevio~s meeting was dispensed with.
Request was made by Belleair a~hipyard for permission to move a waiting station close to
t~e entrance to their shipyard,on the easterly side of Bayshore Highway,appro~imately 100 fe
northward. Councilman Holston moved the desired permission be granted.~he motion was seconded
by councilman ~'iinucciani and regularly carried.
Notice was received from JNO
...... ~ to the effect that ~.utler Road contract No.~ANCS-~,
DA-N~ will be completed on er about June Z0,194~ and the contractor releived of further
resvonsibility, and the city expected to take over and maintain the same. The City Clerk was
instructed to acknowled~e the notice..
An open bid was received from Cyclone Fence
feet of chain link wire fence on the eaterly side of Industrial Way. Councilman Eolston
~oved the bid be accepted. '~he motion was seconded by councilman Einucciani and regularly
carried.
Works Engineer Klassen announced that Colonel John ] .Ske~gs would like to meet with the
city council& the~.ptanning commission with resoect to the proposed ~ayshore Freeway. It was
~ecided to meet 'iue.sday evening,July 13,1943 at 7;30 o'clock P.~. in t e city hall. Engineer
Klassen will so inform the State En~!zneer.

Charles Elder asked t~e council's ~ermission to put on'moving picture show after the mae
lng,on Civilia'~ befence operations. Granted.
City attorney Coleberd reported that representatives of oolice departments of the county
held a meeting on the proposed curfew law. Attorneys Coleberd and YcCarthy will confer on an
ordinance to be introduced in the matter.
