A regularly adjourned meeting of the city. council of the City of South San Francisco was
held in the City Hall Thursday evening, July 13,1943. ,
This meet'~n~ was called to order at 7;30 o'clock ?.~,,i. ~y i;(ayor L.W.Ratto.
ROLL CALL.
Roll call found all members of the council present,as follows:-
Councilmen, V. Bo!do, ',~eorg'e W. ]- olston,~'ee se Lloyd, ~,~ .I'~(inucci sni ~ ~ .W .Ratto.
The minutes of the two previous meetings were read. 'tDere being no errors or omissiions
they were approved as read.
Ti~e amended civil service ~les and regulations submitted by city attorney C::~leberd
came up for discussion, it was dec~ded to tske no action on t}~em until the next meeting of
the council~ at which time the curfew and trailer ordinances wiil be discussed.
As thais w~s the date set for ti~e appearance of Colonel Jol~n L.S!~:ey<o's with proposed plans
to 'install s freeway system on the east front of the city, the Colonel and }dr. Sessions of the
State hi?hway .Commission arrived,and the board adjourned to meet a~'ain off Fonday,July 19,
l~43,at 8 o'cloc
