A regularly adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
was held in the City Hall, Wednesday evening, November
This meeting was called to order at 7;50 o'clock P.M. by Mayor George W.Ho~ton.
RO~L CALL.
Roll call found the following named councilmen present;-
Councilmen,Victor Boido,Charles K.Elder, ~eorge W.Holston,M.Ninucciani.
Absent, councilman Ivan M.Hays. Councilman Hays appeared after roll call.
The reading of the .minutes of the previous meeting was suspended.
A communication was received from Works Engineer Broughton on the subject of the
recent bids on the proposed outfall sewe~,i~He stated all bids were considerably above the
estimate,and was not so sure re-advertising would bring in lower bids on account of the risi~
pric~s~ No.~, Priorities have not yet been granted for the project by the War Production Boa~
No.3,qhe right of way Over Bel Air Island has not been granted by the ~a~itime Commis
No.4,While the ~avy has signified its intention of participation in the cost,no agre
has yet been signed with them.
No.5, No written agreement has been approve~ by the City Council of San Bruno and
and South ~an Francisco~Providing for the joint payment.~of the costs, both of
construction and operation.
The engineer advised that if an award is to be made it should be made subject to
all the above conditions, particularly No.5, the signing of an agreement with San Bruno.
In view of the circumstances it was decided to visit the city council of the City
SaE'm~unG,an~ hold a conference of the City Attorneys and City Engineers. to determine the
best course to pursue on joint action. Engineer Wil~ of Rillsboro will attend the confere
as consulting engineer.

Councilman Elder introduced a resolution of the city council of the City of South Sa~
Francisco cancelling the taxes on the improvements constructed on lands of South San Francis¢
-and & Improvement Company's 49.96 acre tract in Barcel 6, Zone "D", in the amount of $355¢
and the assessment on the imP.rovements on the MO.SV acre tract of the lands of South San Fra~
Land & Improvement CompaDyiin PRrc~l~4Zone "G~ in the amount of $1058.50.
The resolution was adopted by the votes of the following named councilmen;-
Ayes% councilmen,Victor Boido,Charles K.Elde'r, George W.Holston. M.Minucciani.
Noes, Councilmen, Hone.
Absent, Councilmen,-Ivan M.Hays.
