A regularly adjourned meetinf of the city council of the City of South 5an Prancisco
was held in the City Hall, Tuesday, Earth m0,1945.
The meeting was called to order at V;30 o'clock ~.~'[., by Mayor ~eor~e W.Holston.

counc~l in relation to their sign on t!:e t~ill shove tt':e city. 'key stated they w6uld do anything
t?~e city wished them to do about the sign, tear it down, rebuild it or take off any section the
c~ty objects to. ~:ey will-f'et in conference with the chamber of~ commerce on t~e subject, and~
offer a solut'on to lhe situation.
On the Personnel Soard matter, relatinS to the names of t~e persons to be taken in un, er

Councilman hays reported the Aanufacturers Association ha~ inquired concernin~ the ~.ead t~
and wished to know if the tax would be carried into another year. It was explained that a
good portion of the companies had already paid their taxes up until ~?ebruary ~8,1946.
It was decided to take no further actio~ on the s~bject t~'is year.
