. i ~,- A r,gularly ad~ourned ~eeting of the city council of the City of South San Francisco was held in the Oity
Hall, Monday evening, July 23, 1945.
This meeting was called to order at 7 o'clock P.M. by Mayor George W. Holston.
RoLl call found the following named members of the council present, as follows~-
Councilmen, Victor Boido. Charles K. Elder, George II. Holston, M. Minucciani,
~.~Ocuncilman Absent, Councilman Ivan M, Hays..
Oopies of the ~inutes of the two previous meetings having been forwarded to all members of the City
Council, Mayor Holston asked if any one noticed an~ errors or omissions.
Attention was called to the clerk that call force men do receive some salary, that Mr. Oarlisle meant
parks ~en he said parking facilities, and that Mr. Elder meant Recreation Commission when the wortt #Planning
Co~fssion" was used. These corrections having been made Mayor George W. Holston declared the minutes adopted
as corrected and distributed.
Anna Caraszone petitioned the city council for permission to move her .house at 424 Third Lane to next
door, 426 Third Lane. She was advised to. see the building Inspector for advice.
Antonio Antoniazzi petitioned the board for a permit to move his Kauffmann House from the alley on Third
Laa~ to 451 Baden Avenue. Permit gr~nted.
An application was made by Guisseppe Baldi for a position as truck driver when one occurs in the street
department,or the Park Department. Referred to the Superintendent of Streets.

RESOLUTION NO. 1019 Agreement with Government.
Councilman Elder introduced a resolution o'~ the City Council of the City of South San Francisco agreeing
to e~ into an agreement with the United States of America on certain features.
The resolution was adopted by the votes of all the menbers of the city council present, as followst-

Recorded in book of Resolutions, Vol. 3, at page 489.
Plans and specifications for the construction and equipment of a central police station in said city,
prepared by ~illiam Henry Rowe, architect, were, together with an estimate of the cost of the construction of
said central police station, the acquisition of the necessary furniture and equipment of the same, then presented
to said City Council. The estimate ~ $75,000.00
Thereupon, Resolution A was introduced by ~ouncilman Boido and, upon call of the r~l, was adopted by the
unanimous vote of the four memeber of said city council then present. Said resolution A is recorded in Book 3
of Resolutions at page 489. -
~ Plans and specifications for the construction and equipment of a central fire department station in said
city, prepared by l~llliam Henry Rowe, architect, were, together with an estimate of the cost of construction of
said central fire department station, the acquisition of the necessary furniture and equipment of the same,
%[~m presented to said City Council. The estimate is $95,000.00
Thereupon, Resolution B was introduced by Councilman Boido and, upon call ~f the r~ll, was adopted by the
unani~ous .vote of the f our members of said city council then present.
Said resolution B is recorded in Book '3 of Resolutions at page 490. ~
Plans and specifications for the construction and equipment of three recreation buildings in said city,
prepared by William Henry Rowe, arthitect, were, together with an estimate of the cost of the construction of said
three recreation buildings, and the acquisition of the necessary furniture and equipment for the same, then
presented to said Olty Council. The estimate is $40,000.00.
Thereupon, Resolution C was introduced by Councilman Elder and, upon call of the roll, was adopted by the
~ vote of the four members of said city council then present.

Flans and specifications for the construction of a road to connect Linden Avenue, in said ci~, with
E1 Ca~i~ Real~ in said city, prepared by Charles T. Broughton, Works Engineer of said city, were, together
with an estimate of the cost of the construction of said road, thg. n p~sented to 'said Ci~ Council. The estimate
is $60,000.00.
Thereupon, Resolution D was introduced by Councilman Mimuocia~ and, upon call of the roll, was adopted by
the v~-~ _-us vote of the four members of said City Council then present. Said resolution D is recorded in
Book 3 of Resolutions at page 490.

prepared by ~has. T. Broughton, Works ~gineer of said cit~,-Vere, together with an estimate of the cost of con-
struction of said sewers, then presented to said Cit~ Counc$t. The estimate is $75,000.00.
Thereupon, Resolution E was introduced by ~ounctlman Boido and, upon ~ of the ~, was adopted by

Thereupon, Resolution F was introduced by ~ouncilman Elder and, upon c~ll of the rell, was adopted by

Xt was then moved by Oouncilman Miaucciani and seconded by Councilw~n Elder that the meeting
until ~,July 24, 194%, at ?.s30 o'clock p. m. ~he motion was carried by the unanimous vote of the
