Pursuant to adjournment, the City Council of the City of ~outh Sa~ Francisco met im the Council Chamber, in
the City Hall of said city, on Tuesday, July 24, 1945. The meeting was called to order by G. N. B~lston,
Mayor of~ said ci~, at 7 o'clock p. m~. On roll call, the fo .llowing councilmen were found to be presenSt

The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed .with.

Councilman Min~cc~ani introduced a resolution of the city council of the City of South San Fran'.

or disapproval of the contract- The resolution was adopted by the ~otes of all the members of the city council
present, as follows ~-

· .: Oouncilman Beido introduced a resolution of the city co=ucil of ~he City of South San Francisco,.
granting Ivan M. Hays permission to be absent.from all meetings between the ~3 day of July 1945, and the 31
day of August, 1945, in the City of South San Francisco. The Resolution was a~epted by the votes of all the
members of the city council present, as followst-

Thereupon, a form of ordinance entitled: "An ordinance calling a special election in the City of
South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, for the purpose of submitting, to the qualified
electors of the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation, five (5) certain propositions to incur
a bonded indebtedness to pay the cost of certain municipal improvements and acquisitions in and for said city
as follows ~ ~
The construction end equipment of a central police' station in said City of South San Francisco;

The construction and equipment of three recreation buildings in said City of South San Fran-
The construction of a road to connect Linden Avenue, in said city, with E1 Camino Real, in

Reciting the several objects and purposes for which said indebtedness is proposed to be incurred;
the estimated cost thereof and the amount of the indebtedness proposed to be incurred therefor; establishing

stampo, pads, etc.
The ~ity clerk was instructed to write a letter on the ~g a~tuation to the Grand Jury, and a copy
of %~e same to the county newspapers.
Upon motion ~de by Councilman Minucciani and seconded by Councilman Boido and carried by the
una~s vote of the four councilmen present, said meeting was adJourne~ to Monday, July 30, 1945, at the
hour of 7 o'clock-p, m.
