The regular meeting of the bit2 council of the Oity of South San Francisco was held in the City hall, ~,'~onday evening, February 4th,l~46. The meeting was called to order at 8 o'clock P.M. b~ ~ayor George W.Holston. ROLL CALL. Roll call found all memoers of the council present,as follows;- Councilmen,G.A.Anderson, Victor Boido, Charles K.Elder,Georgw W.Holston,~.~inucciani. The Cit~ Clerk,having forwarded copies of t~e miniutes of the previous .meeting to all members of the city council, ~ayor H~olston asked if an~,one had noticed an~· errors or omissions. Councilman ~inucciani noticed that in the bids for gasiline the bid of the Richfield Oil C~. should have read $0/116, and ~r. Coleberd stated that o:~ page l, mention was made of him as responsible for the ~asoline ordinance,where it should not have been,and the minutes were' adopted as corrected. Lura Sellick of the R~ere~tion Commi.~sion recommended that the city purchase the hatched area as designated b~ the attached t~pographical map for the purpose of a recreation building provided, that the entire area from Fifth Lane to Park ¥~a~ ~±errace ~esignated on the map will be dev- elo~ed for homes,and as part of said development,a road from Fifth Lane run~ing along the westerly side of said hatched area,will be constructed,and, also, that adequate provisions will be made to move the existing easement a~®a-~-~,~-a-ma~®~-$4at aA~ma~®-~l~ae.-#,~-$1~®-~!~.e®A-over~ the hatched area in such a manner that ade~yate space for the pr&posed' building will be provided. T~e matter was reaerred to the Planning Commission~, ~'!r. Rocca ]~'as maps on ~and affecting 'the same. Council~'~at~ Elder moved the matter ~,be referred to the Plannin8 Comm, ission.~ihe motion was seconded b~~ councilman ~'inucciani and re~ularly carried. The Planning co~mission submitted a ~'~ap of Elm Court,tof~ether with~sketOh of surrounding land, for the new recreation buildings/There are about ~V lots in the tract. Taken under advisement. A communication was received f~om t~e State Compenaation Insurance ?und, stating that as Louie Lieu ' s accidea, t'~appeneed to him' after he quit work,no ~liaOilit2 woula accrue from the state . Councilman ~,,inucciani explained that t~:~e city is doing business with Larrlngton ~. Company, of ,~edwood Cit,,and did not with to exchange at present.
