Present: Councilmen G. W. Holston, Chas. K. Elder, Leo Ferko,
Adolph Sani. .~
Absent: Councilman Emilio Cortesi.
Mayor Perko called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
The City Clerk having forwarded copies of the minutes of the meetings of
Nov. 12th, 18th and 21st to each of the council members, Mayor Perko asked
if any errors or omissions were noted. There being none the minutes were
approved as submitted.
ORDINANCE ~258:
Licenses:
Ordinance No. 258 was brought up for final reading. The Ordinance was
adopted by the unanimous vote of the council members present.
The Lion's Club requested permission to use the Judge's Chambers for a
meeting Monday night, Dec. 2nd. On motion duly made, seconded and re-
gularly carried permission was granted.
Councilman Elder brought up the matter of cloths used in cleaning around
the city departments. He stated the Towel Supply Co. would supply cloths
and keep same washed and the cost should be lower than outright purchase
of cloths. It was sug~{ested this matter be checked into.
Mark Larwood was present,at the request of the Mayor, with photo-static
copies of the county assessment sheets on various properties. He stated
he would prepare such copies on all the City property at a cost of not to
exceed $5,000.00. He was asked to submit his proposal in writing and the
council members would study same.
Councilman Holston moved, seconded by councilman Elder, that the meeting
adjourn until the next regular meeting of the council, Modday, December
2, 1946, at 8:00 p.m.
Time of adjournment 4:40 o'clock p.m.
