Present: Councilmen G. W. Holston, Chas. ~. Elder, Leo ±"erko,
Adolph Sani, ~milio Cortesi
~,layor ~erko called the meeting to order at 4.~10 p.m.
The reading of the minutes of the previous meetin:7 was dispensed
with.
Councilman Sani introduced a resolution vacating Resolution of
Intention ~1175 covering imp~ovement of Cor~ercial ~venue. The
resolution was adopted by the unanimous vote of all members of
the City Counci:l.
Councilman Elder introduced a resolution declaring the Oity's
intention to improve Oommercial Avenue between Oak ~,venue and
Chestnut Avenue. The resolution was adopted by the unanimous
vote of all members of the City Council.
Councilman Elder moved, seconded by Councilman Sani,that Resolution
#1188, adopted at the ~ouncil meeting of ~'ebr~ry ~rd, covering
application for funds from the State for Oentral Fire Station
plans, be vacated. The motion was regUlarly'carried.
Councilman Cortesi introduced a resolution applying for plan
preparation, reimbursement and supportinu data for Central Fire
Station plans. Z~he resolution was adopted by the unanimous vote
of all members of the City Council.
Councilman Elder moved, seconded by Councilman Sani, that iieso].ution
#1187, adopted at the Council meeting of February 3rd, covering
application for Otate funds for plans for three Recreation Build-
ings, be vacated. The motion was regularly carried.
Councilman IIolston introduced a resolution msking application for
plan preparation· reimbursement, and supportinv data on three
~ecreation buildings. The resolution was adopted by the unanimoUs
vote of all memOers of' the City Council.
f~orks ~n~ineer ~stes submitted map covering description for an
easement through City property on East i)rand Avenue. Same was
referred to the Fire Chief and buperintendent of Streets for a
written report.

On motion of Councilman Holston, seconded by Councilman mfder, /
meeting was adjourned to February 17, 1947 at 8:00 p.m. Time
of adjournment 4:50 p.m.
