Present: Councilmen Victor Boido, Charles K. Elder, Adolph Sani, Joseph Bracco,
and Emi£io Cortesi.
Absent: None.
The meeting was calledto order by Mayor Sani at 7:30 p. m.
The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed with.
The ordinance covering subdivision regulations came up for adoption. CounciLman
Elder moved, seconded by Councilman Cortesi that this ordinance be read by title
only and be considered as the second reading. This motion was regularly carried.
City Clerk then read title of ordinance--"An ordinance establishing subdivision
regulations for the City of South San Francisco." This ordinance was adopted by
the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Boid$,:~tder~$&ni, Bracco, and Cortesi.
Noes, Councilmen none. Absent, Councilmen none.
On motion of Councilman Elder, seconded by Councilman Bracco and regularly carried,
Mr. McClung of the Enterprise was asked to submit an estimate on printing the
subdivision ordinance in booklet form.
Councilman Elder introduced a resolution declaring?the City's intention to order
Tunitas Lane vacated. This ordinance was adopted by the unanimous vote of the
Council members.
L. C. Smith Co. submitted a bill in the amount of $16,938.76, being balance due
from gas tax fund on South Linden Avenue improvement. Motion was duly made,
seconded, and carried that bill, as submitted by L. C. Smith Co., be paid.
Councilman Bracco introduced a resolution authorizing the Works Engineer to prepare
plans and specifications for the improvement of portions of Alta Vista Drive.
This resolution was adopted by the unanimous vote of the Council members.
Communication was received from the South San Francisco Athlete Association re-
questing permission to hold a dance May 13th at the Windbreaker's Hall. Motion
was duly made, seconded and carried that permit be granted.
Communication was received from the Campaign Committee for Attorney General advisin~
that Mr. F. N. Howser would be in South San Francisco at 9:00 a.m. May 12 and would
like to meet as many of the City Officials as possible at the City Hall at that
time. Mayor Sani asked that all officials possible be present to meet Mr. Howser.
On motion of Councilman Bracco, seconded by Councilman Cortesi and regularly
carried, the meeting was adjourned to May 15th at 8:00 p.m.
