ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO HELD I~EDNESDAY, APRIL 18, 1951
Council Chambers, City Hall

Present: Councilmen Victor Boido, Charles K. Elder, Adolph Sani, Joseph Bracco
Absent: Councilman Emilio Cortesi
The meeting was called to order at ~:~5 P. m. by Mayor Sani.
The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed with.
Resolution was received from the Planning Commission recommending the granting of
a use permit to Mr. C. V. Colligan to erect a light machine shop on parcel 28
zone C. Motion was made by Councilman Elder, seconded by Councilman Boido and
regularly carried, that the recommendation of the Planning Commission be accepted,
and that use permit be granted Mr. Colligan.
City Attorney Coleberd brought up the matter of reorganization of the courts in
the county. He did not favor the recommendation of the Judicial Council, which
would allow only one court for the north end of the county. Attorney Thomas
Bocci was present and e~plained the recommendation of the Judicial Council, as
submitted to the County Board of Supervisors. He suggested that the city councils
of the north end county cities contact the Supervisors, explaining their views.
Motion was made by Councilman Bracco, seconded by Councilman Elder and regularly
carried, that the city attorney draw up a resolution to be presented to the Board
of Supervisors, calling for four Judges and three districts, with one full time
court to be located in South San Francisco, as recommended by the County Bar Asso-
ciation.
On motion of Councilman Elder, seconded by Counci]m~n Boido and regularly carried,
the meeting was adjourned to Friday, April 20th at &:30 p. m.
