ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO HHLD MONDAY, SEPT. 2~, 1951

The meeting was called to order at &:20 p. m. by Mayor Sani.
Present: Councilmen Victor Boido, Charles K. Elder, Adolph Sani
Absent: Councilmen Joseph Bracco, Emilio Cortesi
City Clerk having forwarded copies of the minutes of the previous meetings of
September 17th and 2Otb to all councilmen, Mayor Sani asked if there were any
errors or omissions. There being none, the minutes were approved as submitted.
Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 269 came up for second reading. Motion was made
by Councilman Elder, seconded by Councilman Boido and regularly carried, that this
ordinance be read by title only as the second reading. City Clerk then read title
of ordinance: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 269 OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY,ADOPTED DECEMBER 8, 1947". This ordi-
nance was adopted by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boido, Charles K.
Elder, Adolph Sani; Noes, Councilmen, None; Absent, Councilmen Joseph Bracco,
Emilio Cortesi.
The Personnel Board of Review certified the following candidates for the positions
of Patrolman and Fireman placing their names on the eligible list in the order named:

The names of George Richards and ~n.W. Hawkins appear on both the Patrolman and Fire-
man lists. The lists as submitted were accepted and the Clerk was instructed to call
Patro~m~n candidates for interview at 7 p. m. Thursday, September 27, 1951 and Fire-
man candidates on same date at 8 p. m.
On motion of Councilman Elder, seconded by Councilman Boido and re~u!arly carried,
the meeting was adjourned to Monday, October 1, 1951 at 8 p. m.
