MINUTES:
The meeting was called to order at 8:10 p. m. by Mayor Sani.
City Clerk having forwarded copy of the minutes of the previous meeting to all
councilmen~ Mayor Sani asked if there were any errors or omissions. There being
none, the minutes were approved as submitted.
EXTRA WORK Communication was received from the Works Engineer submitting for consideration
SEWAGE DISPOSAL PLANT: extra work to be constructed at the Sewage Disposal Plant. Motion was made by
Councilman Bracco, seconded by Councilman Boido and regularly carried, that the
recommendation of the Works Engineer be accepted and extra work be approved.
GARRETT &HARRISON
INJURIES:
Communication was received from Fire Chief Wette advising that J. Garrett returned
to duty on March 3rd after an absence of one month due to injury. Also that Thos.
Harrison will be absent from duty for approximately one month, effective March 10th,
due to injury. This communication was ordered filed.
DRAINAGE WINSTONMANOR:
MILK TRUCKS
WINSTON MANOR:
HILLMAN-IMPROVEMENT CLUBS:
Mr. Grantham of the Winston Manor area brought up the problem of drainage at
winston Manor. The City Manager explained that this matter should be gone over
before a group meeting at someplace where sketches of the area could be made.
Mr. Grantham asked what could be done to regulate milk trucks parking in
Winston Manor. He was asked to have the club send in a letter which could be
forwarded to the Milk Con~anies and the Drivers Union. The Mayor also asked
that the Police Department check into this matter.
Mr. Hillman of Rockwood Drive addressed the meeting on the stand taken by
various improvement clubs in the city. He suggested that a boosters committee
be appointed to replace these improvement clubs.
On motion of CounciLman Bracco, seconded by Councilman Elder and regularly
carried~ the meeting was adjourned to April 7~ 1952 at 8 p. m.
