Petition was received from the businessmen of lower Grand Avenue requesting public
parking facilities in that vicinity, requesting that the City of South San Francisco for-
give or pay the City taxes as assessed, that the City, if possible, pave the area, and the
property owners themselves would be willing to pay the county taxes as assessed. Ten siguatua~
