Councilman Leo J. Ryan. Harbor Way Assessment District Claim: Carl Kirker claim dated November 27, 1961, in the amount of ~28.,~_.2v. _rot construction !nspec.~ion and surveyin~ sera,ices. Councilman ~hern moved, seconded by Councilman Rocca and re~u!arly carried, that the claim as submitted for Harbor Way Assessment District be approved for payment. ,South San Francisco Industrial Park Unit No. 2-C, Zone 3 Claim: Cooper and Clark claim dated November 29, 1961, in the amount of $756.60 for control of utility trench back- fills and miscellaneous site ~rad[n~. Councilman Rocca moved, seconded by Councilman Ahern and re~u!arly carried, that the claim as submitted for South San Francisco Industrial Park Unit No. ~-C, Zone 3, be approved for payment. Lowrie-Bothln-Swanson Assessment Eistrlct Claim: Lowrie Pavin~ Company, !nc claim dated Nov~mb~.r 30, 1961, in the amount of $5,944.34 for progress billin~ No. 5 on work performed to November 30, 1961. Councilman Aborn mo~ed, seconded hy Councilman Rocca and regularly carried, that the claim as submitted for Lowrie- Bothin-Swanson Assessment District be approved for payment. Councilman Ryan was present at 7:34 p.m. and remained for the duration of the meeting. City Attorney Noonan explained the first resolution, after which Councilman Ahem introduced: "A RE~SOLUTION OF THE, CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 3308". Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Patrick E. Aborn, Emilio Cortesi, Andrew Rocca, and Leo J. Ryan. Noes, none. Absent, none. City Attorney Noonan explained the next resolution, after which Councilman Rocca introduced: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ACCEPTING A GRANT OF PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT FROM ARTHUR S. HASKINS, JR., AND BONNIE HASKINS AND FRED FERRANDO AND FLORENCE FERx RANDO TO THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO". Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, .Patrick E. Ahem, Emilio Cortesi, Andrew Rocca, and Leo J. Ryan~ Noes, none. Absent, none. City Attorney Noonan stated that earlier today the City had ~rece!ved word to the effect that the State Finance Depart- ment had issued a check for the $100,000.00 loan and that it was now in order for the C~.ty to award the contract to Healy Tlbbetts Construction Company as low bidder. .Mayor Rozzi and the members of the Council commended the City iManager and those departments concerned for the work involved ~and attention ~iven to the.completion of this matter. After explanation by the City Attorney, Councilman Ahem in- troduced: "A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT SOUTH SAN FRAN- CISCO MARINA (MARINA AT OYSTER POINT)". iRol! call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen G. RESOLUTION NO. 3350 CHANGES - CONTRACT SSF MARINA RESOLUTION NO. 3351 SILVI0 NIERI -- MERIT CERTIFICATE HOUSING AUTHORITY AD JOURNMENT .~ City Attorney Noonan then explained to Council some chan~es which were to be made in the breakwater explainin~ the reso- lution which was prepared, after which Councilman Ahem in- troduced a resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO APPROVING ALTER- ATIONS AND CHANGES IN WORK IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT -- SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MARINA". Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Go J. Rozzi, Patrick E. Ahem, Emilio Cortesi, Andrew Rocca, and Leo J. Ryan. Noes, none. Absent, none. Councilman Cortesi at this time mentioned that at the time Commissioner Nieri resi~ned as a member of the Housing Auth- ority no certificate of merit had been authorized. Brief dis- cussion followed at which time City Attorney Noonan explained the resolution which could be introduced. Councilman Cortesi then introduced a resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATE OF MERIT TO SILVI0 NIERI FOR SERVICE ON THE HOUSING AUTHORITY". Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, patrick Eo Ahem, Emilio Cortesi, Andrew Rocca, and Leo J. Ryan. Noes, none. Absent, none.
