The meeting was called to order by Mayor Patrick E. Ahem at
7:45 p.m.
Present:
Absent:
Councilmen Patrick E. Aheru, Frank Bertucelli, and
Andrew Rocca.
Councilmen Emilio Cortesi and Guido J. Rozzi.
City Attorney Noouan commented that ~he first item for Council
consideration concerned au applicatieu for a Blasting Permit as
w.ade by C. A. Magistretti.
Brief discussion followed concerning the site for blasting and
~heu it was to occur, after which Councilman Bertucelli intro-
duced a resolution entitled: "CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA - A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
ISSUANCE OF A BLASTING PERMIT TO C. A. MAGISTRETTI".
Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Patrick E.
Ahem, Frank Bertucelli, and Andrew Rocca. Noes, none.
Absent, Councilmen Emilio Cortesi and Guido J. Rozzi.
City Attorney Noonau explained the first ordinance which was
ready for its second reading and adoption, stating thatla motion
could be adopted by Council if they ~o desired that reading of
the ordinance in its entirety be waived and that it be passed
and adopted by the reading of title only. Councilman ROcca so
uoved, seconded by Councilman Bertuo~lli and regularly Carried.
City Attorney Noonan then remarked t~at a motion could be adopted
by Council that the ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE REZONING
~_~tE PARCEL DESCRIBED HEREIN AND KNOWN AS THE BALBI PARCEL RE-
STRICTED MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT OR R-3 DISTRICT
AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 353 AS A~NDED ENTITLED 'ZONING ORDI-
NANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO' PASSED AND ADOPTED
AUGUST 10, 1954" be read for the second time by title and be
passed and adopted, the reading iu its entirety having been duly
~waived. Councilman Bertucelli so moved, seconded by CoUncilman
Rocca.
Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Patrick E.
Aheru, Frank Bertucelli, and Andrew Rocca. Noes, none.
Absent, Councilmen Emilio Cortesi and Guido J. Rozzi.
City Attorney Noouau then explained the next ordinance which was

'ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SO~'TH SAN FRANCISCO' PASSED AND
.MDOPTED AUGUST 10,1954" be read for the second time..by !title and
be passed and adopted, the reading iu its entirety hav2ug been

City Attorney Noonan then remarked that a motion could be
adopted by Council that the ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE
REZONING THE PARCELS DESCRIBED HEREIN AND KNOWN AS THE GISEL-
EINI PARCELS RESTRICTED MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT
OR R-3 DISTRICT AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 353 AS AMENDED EN-
TITLED 'ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO'
PASSED AND ADOPTED AUGUST 10, 1954" be read for the sec0ud time
by title and be passed and adopted, ~he reading in its entirety
having been duly waived. Councilman Bertucelli so moved,
seconded by Councilman Rocca.
Roll call vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Patrick E.
Aheru, Frank Bertucelli, and Andrew Rocca. Noes, none..
Absent, Councilmen Emilio Cortesi and Guido J. Rozzi.
There being nothing further, Councilman Bertucelli moved,
seconded by Councilman Rocca and regularly carried, that the
w.eetin~ be adjourned to the next regAlar meeting of October
5, 196~, at 8:00 p.m.
